There are many different views on how to handle failure, but the one that strikes me most is the way failure is use to achieve success. While this may sound wired, it's true that you can use failure to your advantage.Take for instance the history and struggles of Colonel Sanders he failed several time before succeeding at the age of 66.
"I made a resolve then that I was going to amount to something if I could. And no hours, nor amount of labor, nor amount of money would deter me from giving the best that there was in me. And I have done that ever since, and I win by it. I know." - Harland Sanders
What is your take on failure and how do you handle it?

"No Success Without Sacrifice"
Have you every wondered why most of us wish that we could have a better quality of life? What do you suppose is stopping us from achieving our dream?
Like for instance I once aspired to be an actor in my younger days, but I allowed that voice in my head to convince me that it was too competitive and I wouldn't succeed. I went to school for performing arts for a short time and did very well and then life smack me in the face (new baby) and the dream was put on hold but it still resides within me.

Again I attempted to be the sexy muscle man by working out and hiring a personal trainer to reach my goal of 180 pounds at a local gym. My brother is a sheriff for the police department so he's always looking sharp (6'1, 250lbs) that's nice but I'm not 6'1 and did not desire to be that big... all I wanted is to look nice in my clothes and be in shape at the same time. However something was wrong after a few weeks of motivation. Okay... I lost it, that's what happened. I was getting frustrated with the fact that I was not seeing instant gratification. My point is that I did not stay consistent and I failed to realize my dream...Why?
Eventually I was reminded by my brother after a number of failures about my lack of consistency. So I made up my mind that I would go to the gym everyday no matter what tried to get in my way. An example is if I was not feeling well, tired, car would not start, happy hour with coworkers, new date, grandmother died, it will not stop me getting there.
I reached my goal in time, as it was not easy and at times frustrating.
Later in life I discovered that dedicating time to complete small steps everyday towards that big goal will allow me to achieve just about anything my heart desires.
- Yet people are not willing to sacrifice and do what is necessary to obtain the very thing they say they want. Like I said, if you don't sacrifice for the things that you want it will not happen. That's why the title is call " No Success without Sacrifice" something that I Practice and live by every day of my life. -
